Privacy Policy
Last updated 30 August 2026
This policy covers the Zeke Holdings website and the Zeke Budget Pipeline, a private tool that reads bank alert emails in order to maintain a personal budget spreadsheet. It explains what data each touches, why, and what is never done with it.
1. The website
zekeholdings.com is a static information page. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and has no contact form. Nothing you do on the page is recorded by us. Enquiries reach us only if you choose to send a WhatsApp message or an email using the links provided, in which case we hold that correspondence for as long as needed to answer it.
The site is hosted on GitHub Pages and its fonts are served by Google Fonts. Those providers may log requests, including IP addresses, as part of normal web serving. That logging is theirs, not ours, and we do not receive it.
2. The Zeke Budget Pipeline
The Budget Pipeline is a personal bookkeeping tool used by the owner of Zeke Holdings. It is not a product, it is not offered to the public, and it has no users other than the owner's own accounts. It exists to save the work of copying bank alerts into a spreadsheet by hand.
What it accesses
With the owner's explicit consent, the tool connects to the owner's own Google accounts using the gmail.modify scope. Within those mailboxes it:
- Reads only messages sent from a short, configured list of bank and mobile-money alert senders, and only from the last seven days.
- Applies labels (
zk-logged,zk-review,zk-skipped) to mark which alerts it has already handled, so none is counted twice. - Sends a plain-text notification to the owner's own address when an alert cannot be understood and needs manual attention.
It also connects to the owner's Microsoft OneDrive with the Files.ReadWrite permission, solely to add rows to a single personal budget workbook.
What it extracts
From each matching alert it takes only the fields a ledger entry needs: date, amount, direction, the narration the bank supplied, the last four digits of the account, and the bank's transaction reference. Message bodies are not stored; only these extracted fields are written to the owner's spreadsheet.
Where the data goes
The tool runs entirely on the owner's own computer. There is no server, no hosted backend, and no database. Extracted transaction details go to one place: a spreadsheet in the owner's own OneDrive. Access tokens and a short rolling list of recent transaction references are stored locally on that computer so the tool can resume without re-authorising and without logging the same transaction twice.
Limited use of Google user data
Zeke Budget Pipeline's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Specifically: Google user data is used only to provide the budgeting function described above. It is never sold, never transferred to third parties except as required by law, never used for advertising, and never used to train any generalised or artificial-intelligence model. No human other than the account owner reads it.
3. What we never do
- We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties.
- We do not use email content for advertising or profiling.
- We do not read messages outside the configured alert senders.
- We do not process anyone's mailbox other than the owner's own.
4. Retention and deletion
Budget rows stay in the owner's spreadsheet until the owner deletes them. The local list of processed transaction references keeps only the most recent 500 entries and discards older ones automatically. Access tokens remain on the owner's computer until access is revoked or the files are deleted.
Because the tool authorises only the owner's own accounts, access can be withdrawn at any time from the Google Account permissions page or the equivalent Microsoft account settings. Revoking access stops all further processing immediately.
5. Security
Credentials and tokens are stored only on the owner's computer, are excluded from version control, and are never transmitted anywhere except to Google and Microsoft to authenticate the owner. All connections to those services use HTTPS.
6. Children
Neither the site nor the tool is directed at children, and neither knowingly collects data from them.
7. Changes
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted here with a new date at the top.
